Director Bio - Dee McLachlan

Dee, an internationally acclaimed filmmaker, has directed nine feature films spanning action, thriller, comedy, and drama. Her  credits include Scavengers (1986), Born Wild (starring Brooke Shields, Martin Sheen), The Double-O Kid (Cory Haim, Brigitte Nielsen), the road thriller Deadly Chase, and TriStar Pictures' The Second Jungle Book (Roddy McDowall, Billy Campbell).

After immigrating to Australia, she wrote and directed The Jammed. Among other awards it won Best Film, Best Screenplay, and Best Music at the 2007 Inside Film (IF) Awards, and helped ignite national debate on human trafficking. She subsequently directed the political mockumentary 10 Terrorists, the supernatural thriller Out of the Shadows, and the science-fiction feature 2099: The Soldier Protocol (starring David Arquette, Kendal Rae and Jackson Gallagher), plus many television and documentary projects.

Andrea has worked with Dee for 30 years, and produced several feature films, DEADLY CHASE, THE DOUBLE-O-KID, 10TERRORISTS, and THE JAMMED. She is to help with getting the film into the world. She is founder of Successful Creative and the Genius Lab.

Thea joins the producing team as one of Australia’s most respected casting directors, with a career dedicated to discovering, and championing talent. She is the founder of McLeod Casting and is currently in her fourth year as President of the Casting Guild of Australia (CGA).

Clayton Jacobson, of KENNY and BROTHERS NEST fame; founder of Dreamscreen Australia and now the leading AI creation company Gunshy Cowboys, will be creating some of the action and fill-in scenes for the film.
